It’s time for Fells Point’s regular check-up. At next Wednesday’s Town Hall Meeting, it’ll be time to check the overall health of the community—and to look for any aches and pains as well.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at Louisiana Restaurant, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.
“We will have an agenda for the evening,” said Jason Sullivan, executive director of the Fells Point Main Streets program, “but it will touch upon things such as the history and accomplishments of the Fells Point Development Corporation and current projects.”
Sullivan noted that representatives from the Baltimore Development Corporation’s Main Streets program will be present as well. Part of the purpose of the meeting will be “to try to craft a vision of Fells Point Development Corporation for the future, with issues ranging from our Facade Improvement Grant program, sponsoring Fells Point events such as Privateer Day, Miracle on Main Street (Christmas holidays), the Urban Renewal Plan, to the Marketplace project, trash issues, and other concerns of businesses and residents.”
The meeting is open to the public, but those who live and/or work in the Fells Point area are especially encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be available.
Those who want more information on the meeting or on the Main Streets program can call Jason Sullivan at 410-675-8900, or go www.fellspointdevelopment.com.
