Friday afternoon bingo is from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Cost $2 for six cards (extra cards available-3 for 25 cents), 20 plus games of bingo.

June 6: Taste of India (Part of our Heritage Luncheons) at 11:30, $2.50. Call for reservations.
Members Meeting, 1 p.m., SSA Singers to perform at 1:30 p.m.
June 13: Crab Feast through Eating Together in Baltimore & Luau Party will begin at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $15.00 for members. Each person will be guaranteed 6 crabs in addition to the great lunch. Luau snacks will be provided beginning at 1 p.m. Dress for the luau. Have your pictures taken on our ‘cruise’ ship. Reservations must be made by June 6.
Friday Bingo continues through the summer months, from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. There is a $2/person cost for this activity. Join us for some cool summer fun.

Thursday, June 7: Video exercise at 9:30 a.m.; computer class Part 1 at noon, but no movie, aerobics or pinochle today. The Long and Foster luncheon begins at noon; reservations are required.
Friday, June 8: Bingo starts at 1 p.m.
Monday, June 11: People going on the Midway trip leave at 8:30 a.m., the exercise/walking group begins at 9:30, and lunch will be served at 11:30.
Tuesday, June 12: Farmer’s Market vouchers will be distributed from 9 a.m.-noon. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., computer class is held from noon-1:30 p.m., and yoga classes are from 4:45 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday, June 13: Health and Fitness is set for 10 a.m. The topic is medication reactions. Eating Together is set for 11:30 a.m. Art class is at noon.
The Baltimore City Commission on Aging (CARE) is sponsoring a Senior Public Hearing on Thursday, June 14 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Sandtown Winchester Senior Center, 1601 Baker Street. Learn about CARE’s budget, the Eating Together program, the caregiver support program, the new Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit, and other services for seniors. Call the Hatton Center at 410-396-9025 to reserve a lunch.
Eligibility requirements for the Farmer’s Market vouchers are stricter this year and have been set by the Federal Government. Recipients must be 60 years or older and already enrolled in one of the following programs: Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Program (QMB); Special Low Income Beneficiary Program (SLMB); Primary Adult Care Program (PAC); Supplemental Security Income (SSI); EXTRA HELP with Medicare Prescription Drug Program; Medical Assistance (Medicaid); Senior Employment Program (Title V); or Foster Grandparents Program. To receive the farmer’s market voucher bring proof with either a card or letter from any of these programs. Farmer’s Market voucher distribution is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Hatton Center.
