Harry Potter Knight Bus to visit Highlandtown
HARRY POTTER BOOK TOUR-The Knight Bus, the magical triple-decker bus from the Harry Potter book series, will visit the new Southeast Anchor Library in Highlandtown this Friday from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. About 200 visitors will be allowed aboard the bus to make a video about the Harry Potter books and what they have meant to them. Get a reservation to make the video by calling 410-396-1580. For the rest of us, there will be lessons in wand-making, Potions, and other magical crafts, and we will be sorted into houses.
The next book in the Harry Potter series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” hits libraries and bookstores on Saturday, July 21. The questions of whether Hogwarts School will re-open, whether Professor Snape is good or evil, who lives and who dies, and of course, who ends up with whom, will be answered in the final book. So far, pre-orders for the books are breaking sales records worldwide (many of those records were set during the release of the previous Potter books). Most large book stores are planning midnight sales parties with special activities. The next movie in the Harry Potter series will be “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” with a release date of July 13. “Order of the Phoenix” is the fifth book of the series, which ends with the upcoming seventh book.
