Cool off at the John Booth Senior Center this summer. Join us for one of our programs — aerobics, line dancing, Easy Cardio Moves, Balance and Movement, singing, cards, billiards, Pokeno and bingo, to name a few. Just want to sit and relax? That’s okay, too.
The next members meeting will be August 1 at 1 p.m.
In addition to our regular activities, the following special events are slated for the month of July:
July 25: Eating Together in Baltimore Crab Feast and “Beach Party.” (You must have signed up in advance for this activity).
July 26: Join us in reading Baltimore’s Book, “Esperanza Rising,” and then going to the North Harford Playfield to discuss the book with the pre-teens from the fun camp at 1 p.m.
August 1: Members Meeting 1 p.m. Program by Society for Vision.
Advance Notice: On August 29, there will be a bus trip to Friendly Farms and bingo. Still some seats available.

Thursday, July 26: Video exercise at 9:30 a.m.; aerobics at 10:30 and pinochle at noon. The 12:30 movie is “Mrs. Potter,” which has nothing to do with Harry! This is the life story of author Beatrix Potter, creator of “Peter Rabbit,” and stars Renee Zellweger and Ewan MacGregor.
Friday, July 27: Bingo starts at 1 p.m.
Monday, July 30: the exercise/walking group begins at 9:30 a.m., massage at 10, cards at 10:30 and Eating Together at 11:30.
Tuesday, July 31: Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. Yoga classes begin at 4:45 p.m.
Wednesday Aug. 1: Eating Together at 11:30 a.m. and art class at noon.
Coming events include Game Day and lunch on Tuesday August 7 and lunch and an Ice Cream Social on Wednesday August 29. Call or stop by for details and to sign up.
