The Baltimore Guide was established more than eighty years ago and it has been the source of news and information for the residents of Baltimore ever since. The Southeast Guide serves a diverse area in Southeast Baltimore, from the rowhouses and eateries of Little Italy to the suburban strip malls along Merritt Boulevard, from the trendy Canton and Fells Point waterfront to the steps of the Johns Hopkins Medical Center. In all, 42,000 residences and businesses receive their hand-delivered Guide each Wednesday morning–as they have since 1927. Communities served by the Southeast Edition: Little Italy, Fells Point, Butcher’s Hill, Canton, Highlandtown, Greektown, Eastwood, Colgate, Eastpoint, West Dundalk.
The Guide was established in 1927 as The Shopper’s Guide with offices on West Barre Street in what is now Barre Circle at the north end of Federal Hill. And, on November 19, 1998 The Baltimore Guide returned to its roots, with the launching of the 25,000 circulation South Baltimore Guide. This edition focuses on the areas on the South Baltimore peninsula including the neighborhoods of South Baltmore, Federal Hill, Locust Point, Otterbein, Barre Circle, Ridgely’s Delight, and Washington Village.
The two editions of the Baltimore Guide have their own, individual, editorial content, while the two editions share classified, service directory and real estate advertising sections.

The Baltimore Guide newspapers have a new sister edition: The Times-Herald newspaper, serving Baltimore County and the north eastern part of Baltimore City. Established in 1962, The Times-Herald serves the communities of Perry Hall,
