Suspect in the area using stolen credit & ATM cards

WANTED-Southeastern District police are looking for the man pictured above in connection with a series of car break-ins at the Merritt Athletic Club in Canton. The suspect was caught on surveillance camera using credit cards stolen in the larcenies from auto. If you know this suspect or know his whereabouts call the Southeastern District, 410-396-2422, or Officer Burger, 443-638-1388. Police remind motorists not to leave their gym bags, briefcases or other belongings in plain view in their cars. Put them in a locker at the gym.

Washington Street, 200 block, January 27, 8:55 p.m. A man told police he was out walking when he was approached by a man who pulled a gun and said, “Give me everything in your wallet.” The man handed over his phone, debit card and three checks, and the suspect took down his PIN number and asked where he could find an ATM, then fled.

Gough Street, 2000 block, January 27, 8:55 p.m. A man was out walking when a second man approached, pulled a gun on him and said, “Give me your money.” The first man said, “I don’t have any; I was looking to get some myself.” The suspect fled.

N. Curley Street, 500 block, January 23, 4:15 p.m. Two men told police they had been out driving when they stopped to pick up a man who needed a ride, and who was willing to pay for it, despite the fact that they were not registered cabbies. When they took him where he asked, he pulled a gun and said, “Don’t move or I’ll blast you” and “Kick that s–t out.” He fled with their cell phones and a wrist watch. After a criminal incident report was filled out, the police issued the men a citation for trying to operate an unlicensed cab.

Bank Street, 1400 block, January 28, 9:40 a.m. A man told police he was trying to get out of his house when he saw a second man standing inside it. The man tried to detain the intruder, who grabbed a knife and told him, “I’m gonna leave here one way or another.” The two fought over the knife and the first man sustained injuries. Police arrested the intruder.

S. Conkling Street, 200 block, January 20, 12:36 a.m. A man told police his ex-girlfriend had seen him at a bar with two other women, become jealous and struck him in the head with a bottle. She was arrested.

S. Lehigh Street, 600 block, January 20, 3:30 a.m. A woman told police the father of her child had accused her of being unfaithful, struck and choked her and threatened her with a handgun. He was arrested.

Folcroft Street, 300 block, January 17, 3:30 p.m. A man told police he and a woman were out walking when a second woman approached them and asked if they’d like to buy drugs. The man told her he did not use drugs, but could refer her to a dealer. The woman who was interested in drugs then asked him if he could walk her to the dealer’s house and the man agreed but then left. She came back and attacked the couple, saying, “Give me that money, bitch,” and “You are the one that got my friend, Cat, killed,” and “I know who you are, my brother shot your ass but next time he is going to shoot you in the head.” The woman then tried to stab the couple, who called the police and had her arrested. Not surprisingly, it was discovered the woman was intoxicated.

S. Broadway, 200 block, January 15, 7:30 p.m. A man told policer he was out walking when he passed an alley and was attacked by two men he did not know. He sustained knife wounds and was taken to a local hospital.

Thames Street, 1600 block, January 19, 7:55 p.m. Two men walked into a convenience store and grabbed 25 Red Bull drinks and candy, then fled. The clerk tried to stop them, and they punched her.

E. Pratt Street, 1300 block, January 19, 7 p.m. A man told police he was out walking when two men attacked him from behind, grabbed his wallet and phone, and fled.

S. Bethel Street, 600 block, January 19, 1 p.m. A man told police a man had robbed him of his phone and wallet.

Brentwood Avenue, 6700 block, January 10, 10:52 p.m. A convenience store employee told police a man had pointed a gun at him and said, “Give me the money.” The employee handed over some bills from the register and the suspect fled.

Noble Street, 3400 block, January 9, 1:10 a.m. A woman told police she was out walking when another woman approached and hit her in the face with a bottle. Two men then grabbed her purse and all three fled.

S. Regester Street, 100 block, January 6, 11:10 p.m. A man told police he had been attacked and robbed by a group of men whom he recognized from hanging around the area and harassing others. He told police his wallet containing $220 cash had been taken in the incident.

E. Baltimore Street, 3000 block, January 5, 6:02 p.m. A man told police he was out walking when a man approached him, struck him in the face with a handgun and screamed, “Give me the money!,” then robbed him of $54 cash.

S. Haven Street, unit block, January 5, 4:31 p.m. A worker in an electronics store told police two men had entered the store, pointed a handgun at him and demanded “the pouch.” Witnesses who were in the store at the time scattered, and one of the suspects fired one round, then both fled the store carrying computers.

St. Helena Avenue, 6500 block, January 12, 9:20 p.m. A man told police he had been attacked and stabbed inside a bar. A blood trail was found between the bar and the man’s home, where he called police.

N. Front Street, 100 block, January 11, 9:17 p.m. Police found a man suffering from stab wounds. He told officers he had been out walking when two men had asked him for cigarettes. He told them he did not have any, and they attacked and stabbed him.

German Hill Road, 6700 block, January 10, 10:15 p.m. A man told police he was out walking when some suspects exited a cemetery and attacked him, cutting his face with a razor knife.

Jefferson Street, 2600 block, January 9, 11:50 a.m. Police responded to a report of an attack in progress, and found one man washing his hands in the sink. He told police he had been involved in an argument with his girlfriend, and that the argument had turned “heated.” The girlfriend said, “I am going to kill you” and threatened him with a knife, then cut him. The woman told police she had only picked up the knife to defend herself. She was arrested.

Shipview Way, 6200 block, January 8, 4:34 p.m. Police responded to a report of a fight and found a man lying on the ground with a head injury. The victim had been attacked by suspects identified only as “Burt” and “Dink,” who had argued with him, then his the man on the head twice with a gun prior to fleeing the scene.

Eastern Avenue, 3700 block, January 8, 7:24 p.m. A homeless man was found unconscious. Surveillance tape revealed that he had walked past two men, then turned around in a fighter’s stance and punched one in the face. The two men then fought back, knocking the man to the ground and then fleeing.

E. Lombard Street, 1700 block, January 8, midnight. Police responded to the report of a fight and found a group of people pointing at one man and screaming, “He has a knife! He has a knife!” The man was searched by no weapon was immediately found. It was reported one man had been standing outside a bar smoking when the suspect tapped him on the shoulder, then punched him. The man reported the suspect had a knife in his possession at the time. A knife was found at the scene, hidden under a vehicle, and the suspect and one other man were arrested.

E. Baltimore Street, 2300 block, January 3, 11:36 p.m. A woman told police she had gotten into an argument with a man, who began screaming, “Get out of the house! You are a dirty bitch!” She took exception to this, and the man began choking her. He was arrested.

S. Milton Avenue, 800 block, January 15, 12:15 a.m. Someone entered a home through a side door and took a TV and a bag.

S. Highland Avenue, 400 block, January 14, 3:45 a.m. Someone broke into a grocery store through a rear door and took two charity boxes and a lock box, both containing cash.

Eastern Avenue, 1300 block, January 14, 9 a.m. Someone broke into a car wash through a front door and damaged the cash register, then took a scooter and a cash box.

N. Highland Avenue, 600 block, January 13, 12:50 p.m. A woman told police her ex-boyfriend came to her house and tried to kick down the front door. She told him she was calling police and he fled.

E. Fairmount Street,1400 block, January 13, 7:30 p.m. Someone kicked in  the rear door of a house and took a TV and computer.

Joplin Street, 1600 block, January 11, 12 p.m. Someone entered a home through a basement door and took jewelry and $80 cash.

N. Montford Street, 200 block, January 10, 9:35 a.m. Someone broke the lock on the front door of a house and entered, taking a power washer, master lock and rivet guns.

Noble Street, 3300 block, January 10, 3 p.m. Someone broke into an vacant building through a rear door. Nothing was taken.

Fairmount Avenue, 2800 block, January 10, 8 a.m. Someone entered a home through a rear second floor window and took tools. A ladder left in the back yard had been used to gain entrance.

N. Highland Avenue, 400 block, January 4, 4:45 p.m. A woman told police her good friend had just robbed her. According to the victim, the friend ran up to her, started an argument, then pushed her down, took her phone and wallet, and fled. The suspect was arrested a short time later.

International Place, 100 block, January 3, 4 p.m. A woman told police she was in a parking garage when a man approached her, put an object to her head that she believed was a gun, and then robbed her of $35 and fled. She later told police she had sustained a bloody nose in the incident, and that she had no time to be interviewed about it at the present.

N. Luzerne Avenue, 600 block, January 2, 4:57 p.m. A woman told police she was approached by a group of men, one of whom told her, “Don’t move, don’t twitch, just give me what you got,” and put a gun to her head. He took $624 cash from her coat pocket and fled.

N. Clinton Street, 400 block, January 4, 3:10 p.m. A woman told police she had become involved in an argument with two friends she knew only as “Bonnie” and “Jenean.” During the course of the argument, “Bonnie” grabbed a kitchen knife and cut the woman, then fled.

Landlord starts fight using spackle knife

Aggravated Assault
Quail Street, 800 block, January 2, 3:25 p.m. A man told police he and two other people had gotten into an argument with their landlord over an illegal eviction. The argument turned physical, and the landlord pushed one person and made threatening gestures with a spackle knife. The landlord was arrested.

Loneys Lane, 500 block, January 1, 9:25 p.m. A man told police he had been shot in the head. Investigation revealed the man had been out walking when someone unknown to him shot him with a pellet gun.

Eastern Avenue, 2200 block, January 1, 1:10 a.m. Police responded to the report of a fight and talked to an intoxicated man who told them he was outside smoking when two men started a fight with him. One assailant was arrested.

S. Broadway, 500 block, January 1, 7:33 a.m. Police were called to a local emergency room in response to the report of a teenager who had been attacked and who had sustained multiple fractures to his face. Doctors told officers the man was intoxicated, but had stated, “I was beaten up by a couple of guys.” Security cameras in the area of the assault (S. Broadway and Fleet Street) captured the image of the incident, which took place in the median. According to family members who were in the E.R., the man had been at a party where many individuals were drinking, but had left the party alone.

E. Baltimore and Spring streets, December 29, 5:09 p.m. A man told police he had been jumped by two men while locking up at work. They were unable to get into his pockets and grabbed his keys, located on a Royal Caribbean key chain, and fled.

S. East Avenue, 300 block, December 28, 1 a.m. A man told police he was unlocking his front door when two men came up behind him, hit him with a silver handgun and said, “Give me what you got.” They robbed him of his pea-coat, phone, keys and wallet, and fled.

E. Baltimore Street, 3300 block, December 27, 4:20 p.m. A man told police he was out riding his scooter when someone grabbed him, knocked him off, robbed him of his phone, backpack and the scooter, and fled.

Fleet Street and Broadway, December 26, 5:10 p.m. A man told police he had stopped at the ATM and had to change a tire on his truck. While doing so, he was approached by two men who robbed him of his wallet, phone and $2,000 cash.

N. Potomac Street, 600 block, December 25, 4:22 p.m. Police responded to a disturbance and learned a man had come to the house to collect $20 he said he was owed. When he received only partial payment, he became violent and attacked one man in the house. He was arrested.

Mt. Pleasant Avenue, 3400 block, December 24, 11:10 p.m. A man told police he was sitting in his car when a man attacked him and took his keys, which had been located on a Big Boys Bail Bonds key ring.

Shooting
N. Rose Street, 700 block, December 23, 7:30 p.m. Officers responded to a report of shots fired and found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand,and in the 200 block of the same street, a 19-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks. Both were taken to area hospitals and found to be in stable condition. Preliminary investigation revealed the victims were standing at the intersection of N. Rose and E. Orleans streets when an as yet unidentified assailant approached and began firing. At present there is no suspect information or known motive. Southeast District detectives are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately at 410-396-2429. Information can be provided anonymously.

N. Potomac Street, 600 block, December 25, 4:22 p.m. Police responded to the report of an assault in progress and found one man standing over another who was bleeding, and a woman nearby, who was screaming for help. It was revealed the assault had started over money.

S. Broadway, 600 block, December 26, 5:10 a.m. A man told police he had stopped at an ATM to withdraw $300 cash and then attempted to change a flat tire on his vehicle. While doing so, he was approached from behind by two men who pulled a gun on him and robbed him of his wallet and $2,000 cash as well as two phones.

S. Curley Street, 1000 block, December 17, 12:30 a.m. A woman told police she had wanted a cigarette and in getting up to have one, had accidentally awoken her boyfriend. He became irate and choked her until she passed out.  A warrant was obtained for his arrest.

Bethlehem Avenue, 1300 block, December 13, 8:24 p.m. A man told police he was involved in an argument with his boss, who struck him on the face with a soda bottle, then fled in a van.

E. Lombard Street, 1600 block, December 12, 9 a.m. A school police officer told officers on patrol a 13-year-old had tried to stab a 9-year-old. They found the suspect screaming, “I’m going to kill him” while being held down by another school administrator. The suspect was arrested.

Hornel Street, 300 block, December 12, 1:20 p.m. A woman told police she and her boyfriend had become involved in an argument, during which he pushed her to the ground, causing injury. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

N. Bradford Street,. 500 block, December 11, 2:30 p.m. A woman told police her boyfriend had pushed and shoved her, and pointed a B.B. gun at her. The suspect was arrested.

S. Bond Street, 500 block, December 11, 7:10 p.m. A man told police he was curious enough to investigate an altercation in a bar, whereupon one of the individuals inside the bar hit him with a pool stick. It was revealed the altercation had begun because a group of men had not wanted to pay their bar tab.

O’Donnell Street, 3300 block, December 16, 16, 12:05 a.m. A man told police a group of suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun, robbed him of two phones.

Fleet Street, 3400 block, December 15, 8 p.m. A man told police he was in a parking lot when a man approached him, threatened him with a knife and said, “Give me the wallet!” The suspect fled with the man’s phone and wallet.

N. Decker Avenue 100 block, December 15, 6 p.m. A man told police a second man had pointed a screwdriver at him and said “Give me what you got.” He fled with a dollar bill and the man’s cell phone.

S. Caroline Street, 300 block, December 15, 3:10 p.m. A 13-year-old boy told police he was beaten and robbed of his phone while walking to the bus stop.

N. Curley Street, 400 block, December 14, 12:25 p.m. A man told police a teenaged suspect had pointed a gun at him and said, “Bitch, don’t move,”  then robbed him of his phone and wallet.

E. Baltimore Street, 3400 block, December 14, 12:15 a.m. Police found two men suffering from wounds, who told them they had been inside a bar and had paid their tab with a $100 bill and a man they did not know said, “Man, you got a lot of money.” When the two men walked out, the suspect assaulted him and robbed him of his phone. The suspect dropped his watch in the process.

Claremont Street, 3500 block, December 16, 1:40 a.m. A woman told police she heard noises outside her door and upon looking through the blinds, saw two women who screamed, “Open the door, bitch” and tried to force their way in. The first woman called police and the suspects fled.

Thames Street, 1700 block, December 15, 9 a.m. Someone forced open the rear door of a visitor office and took a computer and tools.

S. President Street, 700 block, December 13, 6:15 p.m. Someone entered a home through a front door and took fleece pants and a container of aloe vera cream.

Eastern Avenue, 6300 block, December 17, 2:16 p.m. A man was arrested for trying to leave a store with a laser level under his jacket. In searching his person for the property, police also found a plastic sandwich bag containing a white rocklike substance. The man was arrested.

Thames Street, 1900 block, December 16, 11:15 a.m. Someone cut a lock and took a bicycle.

S. Broadway, 500 block, December 16, 2:05 p.m. A man told police he had put his clothing in the dryer, and when he went to get it back, it was gone.

Hopkins Bayview Circle, 5500 block, December 16, 2:30 p.m. Two women’s wallets were taken out of their purses, which had been left under their desks at work.

S. Broadway, 500 block, December 12, 2:30 p.m. Someone stole a case of “Demon Brand” potpourri from a new-age store. The case was valued at $1,406.49.

Eastern Avenue, 6300 block, December 8, 1:50 p.m. A man tried to leave a home improvement store with a hammer and tool pouch in his pants, but security guards were not fooled, and arrested him.

Used body butter left behind by burglar

Robbery
Boston Street, 3200 block, December 9, 8:33 p.m. A woman told police a man approached her and tried to sell her drugs, which she refused, telling him she’d been clean for years. He then pulled a gun and said, “Come here, bitch. Give me your money.” He kept repeating this even after she told him she had no money and no phone. The first man was accompanied by a  second, who said nothing the entire time. They eventually walked away from the woman without taking anything.

Eastern Avenue, 1600 block, December 8, 6:10 a.m. Bar employees told police they were helping with deliveries when a group of men entered, pulled a gun and robbed the establishment and the men of more than $3,200 cash.

S. Ann Street, 300 block, December 7, 8 p.m. A woman told police she was out walking when two men approached her, grabbed her purse. She fought back, beating them with her umbrella, but they punched her in the head and fled with the purse.

Eastern Avenue, 1800 block, December 5, 3:15 p.m. A masked suspect entered a store and brandished a handgun and demanded money. He then fled because one of the employees ran to get help.

S. Collington Avenue, 200 block, December 4, 10:08 p.m. A senior citizen  told police she was walking to her house when a man approached her, said, “Don’t make a sound,” then knocked her down and took her purse.

McElderry Street, 2400 block, December 4, 7:45 p.m. A teenaged boy told police he was walking with his cousin when a suspect he knew only as “Tony” approached him and said “Kick it out.” The two cousins told police “Tony” knocked one of them to the ground and cut him with a small knife. “Tony” then walked with the cousins to their relative’s house, continually saying, “I’m sorry; I didn’t mean it” all the way. He then walked away once they had arrived home safely.

Aliceanna Street, 2100 block, December 4, 2:25 a.m. A man told police he had walked from his home to a restaurant to order food,  then walked out to wait. Two men approached him, said, “What up?” and then punched him in the head, took his wallet and fled.

S. Clinton Street, 200 block, December 4, 2 a.m. A man told police he was walking through an alley when two men approached him. One put him in a headlock and the other screamed “Just kill him! Just kill him!” They took his phone and wallet, then fled.

N. Central Avenue, 100 block, December 2, 7:20 p.m. A senior citizen told police he heard a knock at his door and saw a friend there. Two people pushed their way in as well and one grabbed a phone, called someone and said, “I’m in.” The suspects tied up the victim and two friends, then robbed them of $5,600 cash.

1600 block Gough St, Tuesday, Nov. 29, 10:28 p.m.: Three juvenile males jumped a man and tried to steal his briefcase, which was on a strap over his shoulder. They kicked and punched the victim and fled with $25 cash but without the briefcase, which contained the victim’s laptop computer. Police arrested two 16-year-old boys.

2500 block Fait Ave., Thursday, Dec. 1, 4:15 p.m.: Four males jumped a very drunk man, beat him and cut him, and stole $100 cash.

2000 block Fountain St., Wednesday, Nov. 30, 11:10 p.m.: A man wearing a ski mask jumped a woman walking home and stole her purse, phone, cash, cards and personal papers.

100 block N. Linwood Ave., Thursday, Dec. 1, 4:30 p.m.: A man was using his laptop computer at the library when a teenager grabbed it and ran out of the library. The victim chased the boy, who put the computer down on some steps at the corner of Potomac and Linwood. When the victim when to pick up his laptop a second boy jumped him, punched him, grabbed the computer and ran away.

200 block S. Ann St., Tuesday, Nov. 29, 5:30 p.m.: Two teenagers jumped a man and stole $40 cash and his iPhone, together worth $340.

100 block N. Chester St., Sunday, Nov. 27, 7:40 p.m.: A man was held up at knifepoint and robbed of his Sanyo cell phone, a pack of Newport 100 cigarettes and $1 cash.

1900 block E. Lombard St., Sunday, Nov. 27, midnight: Two men impersonating police officers stopped a man and held him up at gunpoint. They went through his pockets and briefly forced him into a green Ford Explorer where they asked him if he had any drugs on him. After less than five minutes the suspects dropped the victim at the corner of Chester and Eastern Ave. The thieves made off with $300m cash, a Bank of America credit card and the victim’s wallet and ID.

4700 block Fleet St., Sunday, Nov. 27, 7:10 p.m.: A man walking to his car was accosted by a suspect who showed him a black handgun and demanded his money. The victim opened his car door, kicked the suspect, left the scene and called the police. The suspect was wearing a black face mask, khakis and a striped blue sweater.

2600 block Fleet St., Monday, Nov. 28, 10:30 p.m.: A woman was held up by a man who implied he was armed. He made off with her tote bag, phone, keys and personal papers, together worth $60.

100 block S. Patterson Park Ave., Monday, Nov. 28, 6:18 p.m.: A woman jogging down the street was approached from behind by a man on a bicycle who grabbed the cell phone from her hand. She struggled and the phone fell to the ground, but the cyclist made off with her earbuds, worth $10.

A 12-year-old boy was robbed of his iPod Touch, cell phone and $165 cash by a teenager who dropped his notebook at the scene. Police used the information in the binder to follow the suspect to Patterson High School, where they recovered all of the property except $40 cash. The suspect was taken to the city’s juvenile facility.

200 block S. Durham St., Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1:30 a.m.: A woman was held up at gunpoint and robbed of $100 cash.

6400 block Hartwait Ave., Saturday, Nov. 26, 9:38 p.m.: A woman was punched and robbed of her Cricket cell phone by her live-in boyfriend. A warrant is issued for his arrest.

400 block N. Lakewood Ave., Thursday, Dec. 1, 3:45 p.m.: A woman out shopping was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, who slapped her and stole $120 cash and a $139 Coby Surround Sound stereo system that she had just purchased. Police arrested the suspect.

6200 block Eastern Ave., Saturday, Dec. 3, 9:40 p.m.: A man told police that he was assaulted and stabbed. Police are investigating.

800 block Umbra St., Friday, Dec. 2, 3 p.m.: A man called police and reported that he was accosted by a man in a tan Trailblazer who pointed a gun at him and said “I’ll blow your _______ head off.” Police responded, but before they arrived the victim went out to walk his dog, and was again accosted by the armed man in the Trailblazer.

Highland Ave. and Pratt St., Thursday, Dec. 1, 6 p.m.: A man was stabbed during a street fight.

Unit block S. Central Ave., Thursday, De. 1, 1:45 p.m.: A homeless man was arrested for assault after threatening the owners of a garage with a wrench, and hitting one of them in the eye with it. The victims said that they allow the homeless to sit on a bench outside the business, but the suspect had come into the waiting room, stolen magazines and bothered the customers, so they asked him to leave

1700 block Eastern Ave., Monday, Nov. 28, 2:30 a.m.: A man leaving a bar was beaten and stabbed by a gang of men who had just been ejected from the same bar. The victim went to Johns Hopkins Hospital with a knife still protruding from his back. The victim is in stable condition.

200 block N. Curley St., Monday, Nov. 28, 7 p.m.: A man was sitting on his front steps when a dark-colored auto rolled up. Both the front and rear passenger side windows opened, and one of the passengers shouted “Run!” Then both passengers pointed silver handguns at the victim. He ran and called police. While canvassing the blocks, he identified a man he knew as “Dwyone” as one of the suspects. They found Dwyone, who was hanging at the corner of Curley and Fayette. Dwyone was arrested and taken for questioning.

Unit block S. East Ave., Monday, Nov. 28, 3:36 a.m.: A woman was assaulted by her very drunk and agitated son. Police took the suspect to Central Booking.

200 block S. Broadway, Saturday, Nov. 26, 11:45 p.m.: A man told police that he was walking down the street when a man ran up to him and punched him repeatedly for no apparent reason. The victim was taken to the hospital for stitches under his eye.

Robbery
S. Regester Street, 200 block, November 26, 1:40 a.m. Three men told police they were walking home when a Ford Expedition pulled up and a group of men got out and yelled, “Baltimore Police,” despite the fact that they were not in uniform and in fact, that one was wearing a T-shirt that said “Puerto Rico” and jeans. They pulled a gun and robbed the men to cash, phones and more. One had a police badge around his neck. Two men were described as white, and one as black, all about 30 years of age.

Brentwood Avenue, 6700 block, November 26, 3:02 a.m. A convenience store employee told police a man had entered the store and threatened him with a knife, saying, “Give me the money.” He fled with scratch-off lottery tickets.

S. Regester Street, 200 block, November 25, 2:34 a.m. A man told police he and his friend were out walking when a green Ford truck, possibly an Explorer or an Expedition, pulled up and two men got out and said, “We are the police.” They robbed the two men of cash and other items, then fled in the truck.

Stiles Street, 800 block, November 25, 8:35 p.m. A man told police he was approached by a second man who was wearing a mask and pulled a black revolver and said, “Drop what you have and sit on your butt.” The man handed over his car key but when the suspect saw other people approaching, he fled.

Mt. Pleasant Avenue, 3400 block, November 22, 2:30 a.m. A man told police he was out walking when a man walked up to him and said, “Take it off or I will f-— you up.” The first man pulled down his pants and the suspect took his wallet, key and cash, then fled.

N. Ann Street, 100 block, November 22, 11:25 a.m. A man told police he was at home when he heard a nose and thought it was his brother. A man he did not know entered the room and said, “Don’t move; I am going to kill you.” He implied he had a weapon and said, “Where’s the f-–ing money?” and “I want the laptop and give me the cord too.” He robbed the man of his phone and computer, then fled.

Pulaski Highway, 3300 block, November 21, 1:30 p.m. A woman told police her ex-boyfriend had pulled up in a white Jeep with temporary tags, jumped out and grabbed $200 cash out of her hands and then drove away. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

S. Curley Street, unit block, November 21, 7:20 p.m. A cashier in a bar told police she was on duty when a man known to the staff, and who had been drinking for about an hour, had walked behind the register and said, “I’m gonna do it.” The cashier told the man she would get him whatever he wanted, but he pushed her away and tried to take money from the register. The bar owner told police he had not given the man permission to do this. A warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest. On November 21, the same suspect walked behind the bar of a second establishment owned by the same people (this one located in the 2700 block of E. Fayette Street) and took $1,700 cash. The incident was captured on surveillance camera.

Bank Street, 1700 block, November 20, 7:11 p.m. A woman told police she was out walking when she heard people behind her. She turned around and one man grabbed her while another pulled a gun on her. They grabbed her purse and fled.

S. Bethel Street, 800 block, November 20, 2 a.m. A man and woman told police they were out walking when two men approached them and pulled a gun, threatening them. They robbed them their keys, cash and phones. Another man and woman were later robbed in the area by the suspects fitting the same description and using the same method. One suspect was described as wearing a Steelers sweatshirt.

Holabird Avenue, 6600 block, November 20, 5:16 p.m. A sub shop employee told police a man entered, implied he had a weapon and said, “Open the drawer and give me the money.” Another employee said, “We can’t give you that. It’s not ours.” The suspect looked angry and said, “I’ll be back” and walked away.

Aggravated Assault
S. Conkling Street, unit block, November 26, 2:40 a.m. A woman told police she was asleep when her boyfriend came home drunk and started screaming at her. She told him to be quiet and he grabbed a kitchen knife, put it to her throat and said, “I will kill you, I will kill you,” then punched her in the head. He then went into another room. Police arrested him a few minutes later.

Holabird Avenue, 6500 block, November 24, 2:30 a.m. Two women told police a man had approached them on the street, pointed a gun at them and said, “Y’all get the f-— out of here before I shoot your f-—ing asses.” Police were called and approached the man’s home. He came out, screaming, “I ain’t got no gun.” Officers found two rounds of buckshot in his jacket pocket, and the man said, “You can search the house; I ain’t got no gun.” The gun was found leaning against the wall to the officer’s right. The suspect was arrested.

N. Curley Street, 600 block, November 21, 12:40 p.m. Police on patrol heard gunshots and went to investigate. They found bullet holes in the front door of a house and went inside to investigate. A woman told them where the gun was and how to find it, and police recovered it, then discovered it had been stolen in Anne Arundel County. Green plantlike material was also found in the house at the same time. A man in the house told police two men had entered the house and fired their own gun at them, and that he had used the gun in the house to defend himself before both suspects fled. He eventually confessed to police the gun in the house and the drugs were his. He was arrested.

S. Conkling Street, 100 block, November 20, 2:09 a.m. Police responded to a call about disorderly behavior outside a bar. A man told them he had been pushed out of the bar for being loud, and that he had been knocked down by a security guard and sustained a cut on his shoulder.

S. Washington Street, 300 block, November 27, 10:35 p.m. Someone entered a home, possibly through a back door, and took a TV, computers, action figures, immigration paperwork and a charger.

Mueller Street, 3300 block, November 25, 9:45 a.m. Someone entered a home through a front window and took a phone, computer and cash.

E. Fayette Street 4500 block, November 21, 6:30 a.m. Someone broke into a business through the front door and took equipment including welding leads, extension cords, scales, air hoses and various tools.

S. Newkirk Street, 1600 block, November 21, 7:45 a.m. Someone pried the door off a commercial trailer and spray painted “F– you” on the interior walls.

Jefferson Street, 2400 block, November 19, 10 a.m. Someone entered a home from a back door and took $2,500 worth of kitchen cabinets.

Boston Street, 2600 block, November 26, 11:57 p.m. Someone stole a bicycle from a parking garage.

S. Duncan Street, 200 block, November 25, 8 p.m. Someone entered a yard through a rear fence and took a mountain bike.

E. Fayette Street, 1300 block, November 25, 3:50 p.m. A man was arrested for trying to steal two “Extremely Me” pink watches from a discount store.

Fleet Street, 2100 block, November 25, 4:16 p.m. A liquor store employee told police a man had walked in, grabbed two 1/2-gallon bottles of vodka, then fled.

S. Bond Street, 500 block, November 25, 2:20 a.m. A man told police a suspect had approached him and said, “Is that apple pie you’re eating?” and the man replied it was. The suspect then took his pie and his wallet, and then fled.

S. Exeter Street, 600 block, November 24, 12:38 p.m. A man tried to shoplift 16 Red Bull drinks from a drugstore, but a bystander reported him. He was arrested after a brief foot chase in which the Red Bull did not help him.

Eastern Avenue, 4900 block, November 24, 1 a.m. A man told police he was at a hospital in the emergency room when someone stole his jacket, wallet and cash.

N. Linwood Avenue, 100 block, November 23, 2:55 p.m. A woman told police the man sitting next to her in the library had taken her cell phone while she had it plugged into the wall to charge.

Eastern Avenue, 6300 block, November 21, 7 p.m. A man ran into a convenience store, grabbed a Tastykake and ran out.

Eastern Avenue, 6400 block, November 21, 7 a.m. A business found they were missing $51,000. A suspect was named.

E. Fairmount Avenue, 3500 block, November 14, 10:30 p.m. A woman told police she was out walking when a man pulled a gun and said, “Give me your purse.” He fled with her purse, phone, bi-fold wallet and driver’s license.

E. Lombard Street, 1900 block, November 13, 9:50 p.m. A man told police he was grabbed from behind by a man who pulled him to the ground, took his phone and then fled in the company of a second man.

Dundalk Avenue, 1800 block, November 13, 4:30 p.m. A woman told police a male suspect, whom she described as wearing sunglasses and a ripped shirt, had reached for his waistband as though implying he had a gun, and told her, “Give me your money.” The woman, who was waiting for a bus at the time, handed over her purse and $15 cash.

S. Ponca Street, 1000 block, November 21, 6:30 p.m. A teenager told police she was out with a male friend when a group of teenaged boys surrounded them and told the girl he would rip her friend’s face off if she resisted. He took her cell phone and fled.

E. Fayette Street, 3200 block, October 21, 1:15 p.m. A man told police two teenaged boys had entered his electronics business and started grabbing merchandise. The worker grabbed his phone to call 911, and one teenager said, “Why are you calling them? All we want is this laptop.” He called the police and the suspects fled, yelling, “We’ll be back.”

S. Macon Street, 300 block, October 21, 1 a.m. A woman told police she and her boyfriend were sitting outside on some steps when a man ran up, put a gun to the boyfriend’s head and took their computer and phone, then fled.

Aggravated Assault
E. Lombard Street, 1800 block, November 15, 8:15 a.m. Police were called to a school when a student refused to surrender his 7-inch pocketknife. The student was arrested.

S. Macon Street, 400 block, November 15, 12:13 a.m. A woman and man told police they heard an argument in front of their house, and saw a man pointing a gun at the window. The man with the gun went away and came back with a steak knife, which he threatened the woman with when she went outside to confront him. She sustained a scrape. Police arrived and arrested the assailant, as well as another man involved in the incident.

E. Fayette Street, 3200 block, November 14, 2:50 p.m. A man told police he and his boss had become involved in an argument, and that he had tried to walk away when his boss began beating him with a snow shovel, orange in color. The boss was arrested, although no snow shovel was recovered.

Leakin Street, 700 block, November 13, 12:21 a.m. Police broke up a group of people fighting. A bystander told them she had seen one man in the group throw a bottle at a woman’s car, breaking the window. Two of her friends (a man and woman) were out walking when the group attacked them. The man was treated at a local hospital.

S. Broadway, 200 block, November 13, 3:55 p.m. Police responded to a report of property damage and found a man throwing bottles at a restaurant window. It was revealed that several weeks ago, the management of the restaurant had asked him not to return to the premises, but that he had come back tonight under the influence, trying to buy alcohol, which the restaurant refused to serve him. He flew into a rage, punched an employee, then left and returned with rocks and bottles, which he began throwing at the restaurant window. He was arrested.

S. Mason court, 200 block, November 19, 3:15 p.m. Someone entered a home through a front door and took a TV and a phone.

Holabird Avenue, 6500 block, November 18, 11:30 a.m. Someone entered a home through a front door and took a safe and a B.B. gun.

Robbery
Railway, 6700 block, November 12, 6 p.m. A man told police he was out walking when a group of men approached him and asked if he had 50 cents. He gave them 50 cents and one said, “I’m gong to bank you,” then punched him in the face, took his wallet and ran.

Caroline Street, 300 block, November 9, 5:30 p.m. A man told police he was in a library with a friend when some men he did not know came up and asked if he wanted to “smoke some weed” with them. When the man got up to go with the group, his friend said, “I think they are strapped,” meaning he thought they were armed, and that he thought he owed one of the individuals money, though he wasn’t sure. When he went outside, they attacked him and robbed him of his computer and wallet, as well as a cane.

S. Broadway, 200 block, November 8, 10:30 a.m. A bar employee told police a man had entered the premises and sat down at the bar, then made a comment about what was on TV. Without any preamble, he grabbed the employee by the collar and went down to the register. He fled with more than $220 cash.

S. Spring Court, 200 block, November 5, 1 a.m. A woman told police she and her boyfriend had been out partying and drinking when they began to argue. The man punched the woman, took her phone and fled.

Orleans Street, 2300 block, November 5, 3:56 p.m. A man entered an automotive business and threatened an employee with a handgun, saying, “Open the register.” He and a fellow suspect fled with more than $1,000 cash.

S. Broadway, 100 block, November 5, 2:58 a.m. A man told police he had been robbed by a man who walked away counting the money. The suspect was arrested a short time later.

E. Pratt Street, 1400 block, November 5, 11 p.m. A cab driver told police three men had gotten into his cab, punched him, grabbed his wallet and fled.

Aggravated Assault
N. Montford Street, 600 block, November 12, 2:47 a.m. Police responded to a local E.R. after a report of multiple stabbing victims who had walked in together. Three men told them they had been involved in trying to break up a fight, and that all of them had been cut.

Eastbourne Avenue, 6400 block, November 7, 7:13 p.m. A woman told police her son’s ex-girlfriend had stabbed her with a pocket knife for no apparent reason.

N. Streeper Street, 100 block, November 7, 6:32 p.m. A man and his brother argued about groceries one had purchased. A shoving match ensued, and then one man stabbed the other with a steak knife. He was arrested. He told police, “I have a prosthetic leg and he pushed me to the floor so I grabbed a knife and stabbed him.”

McElderry Street, 3000 block, November 6, 10:10 p.m. A woman told police her boyfriend had beaten her with a mop. It was revealed the two had been arguing because the man thought the woman was being unfaithful.

Thames Street, 1900 block, November 12, 2:23 a.m. Someone broke the glass door of an apartment and entered.

N. Curley Street, 2900 block, November 12, 9:30 a.m. Someone opened the front window of a house and entered, taking tools and food.

S. Mason Court, 200 block, November 12, 3 a.m. Someone entered a home without force and took $600 cash.

N. Streeper Street, 400 block, November 11, 3 p.m. Someone entered a home through a front door and took away a TV and a game system.

N. Wolfe Street, 100 block, November 11, 10 a.m. Someone pried open the kitchen window of a house and took a computer.

Leverton Avenue, 3400 block, November 10, 11:50 p.m. Police responded to a home owner’s call and found a man inside the house with the resident. The intruder told police, “He knows me,” but this was refuted by the homeowner. The suspect was arrested.

Eastern Avenue, 1600 block, November 10, 8:30 p.m. Someone entered a fraternal order building through a metal folding gate, and took a hand cart and storage bins.

Bank Street, 2000 block, November 9, 4 p.m. Someone entered a home through a window and took a bag, cameras, computers and jewelry.

Robbery

S. Broadway, 200 block, November 4, 11:07 a.m. A woman at a grocery store noticed a customer trying to force open the cash register. She asked him what he was doing. He replied “Bitch,” but offered nothing else coherent. She told him she was calling the police, and he fled without taking anything.

S. Decker Avenue, 700 block, November 1, 3:10 a.m. Police were alerted to the report of a man who had been robbed and was chasing suspects. The man told police he had been out when the suspects approached him and said, “Give us what ya got or we’ll put one in ya,” while brandishing a gun. One suspect, described as fat, became excited and screamed, “Put one in him! Put one in him!” They took his wallet and fled with him in pursuit. Finally, one threw the wallet at him, but there was no money inside it, the suspects apparently having removed $200 cash. Two of the three suspects were later located by a K-9 officer and one gun was also recovered. Police will follow up.

Albemarle Street, 200 block, October 31, 7:30 p.m. A man told police an armed suspect had carjacked him and stolen his gold 2006 Pontiac.
N. Curley Street, 200 block, October 30, 9 p.m. A man told police a man had pointed a gun at his face and said, “Give me your wallet,” at which point, the man told him he did not have anything and the suspect ran away.

N. Kenwood Avenue, 200 block, October 29, 11:28 p.m. A man told police a female suspect, whom he described as black with short red hair and white sneakers, had taken his wallet, cash and phone by force, and fled.
Aggravated Assault

S. Broadway, 700 block, November 4, 11:25 p.m. Police saw a car stopped in traffic with the driver, a woman, involved in what looked to be a heated discussion with a man. The woman told police she had been driving when the man crossed the road in front of her, then became irate and approached the car, and began to assault her. She sprayed mace at him in self-defense, she said. The man told police the woman had nearly struck him and that he had approached her car to ask why, and she had sprayed mace at him. He told police he did kick the vehicle. Police will follow up.

E. Fayette Street, 2400 block, November 3, 3:23 a.m. Police responded to a report of an assault and found a woman bleeding from a cut to her face. She told them a man and a second woman had been arguing and she had tried to separate them and the man had slammed the door on her, causing the injury. She told police the man had told everyone in the area not to answer police questions about the incident. The man would not respond to police requests to turn around to be handcuffed, and was eventually taken into custody forcibly.

S. Wolfe Street, 500 block, November 2, 11:10 p.m. A woman told police she had been assaulted by a former co-worker whom she knew only as “Margarite,” and whom she was unable to describe. The two had been drinking together prior to the incident. The first woman told police the assailant had already gone home because her boss had made her. She then became uncooperative with the investigation and refused to participate further.

Anglesea Street, 400 block, November 2, 4:47 p.m. A woman told police she had gotten into an argument with her mother in law; the mother in law had allegedly become angry over a picture the woman had posted on her  Facebook page. The mother in law struck the woman in the face with a pair of metal tongs, causing injury, and was arrested.
N. Rose Street, 200 block, October 30, 6:36 p.m. A man told police he and his father in law had gotten into an argument over money, and that the father in law had stabbed him in the back. The father in law was arrested.

S. Conkling Street, unit block, October 14, 12:50 a.m. A man told police, “I was stabbed by a man by the name Chauncey.” An argument had started between the two when one accused the other of taking his phone. “Chauncey” was later arrested and found to have a ziplock bag containing white powder on his person.
Larceny

Aliceanna Street, 1400 block, November 5, 4:50 p.m. Someone removed a bag container UnderArmour clothing after it was attached to a pole outside a restaurant.

S. Highland Avenue, 1100 block, November 4, 11:27 a.m. Someone stole six pairs of ladies underpants from a drawer. A suspect was named to police.

Eastern Avenue, 3800 block, November 3, 1:30 p.m. A woman took raw shrimp from a seafood display. When asked when she was going to pay for it, she replied, “When I am ready,” and left with it. She was arrested shortly afterwards.

E. Fayette Street, 3300 block, November 3, 3:10 p.m. A man was arrested for trying to leave a convenience store with 5 energy drinks. He could not outrun police despite the energy drinks, however, and was arrested.

Anglesea Street, 1200 block, November 1, 8:30 a.m. A man told police someone had picked his pocket, taking $1,200 without his knowledge.

Robbery
Holabird Avenue, 6600 block, October 26, 3:10 p.m. A woman told police she had walked past two teenaged boys while on her way to buy cigarettes. On the way back, she was counting her money when the boys punched her, grabbed her wallet and fled.

N. Belnord Avenue, unit block, October 25, 9:30 p.m. A man told police he and a friend were out walking when two teenaged boys ran up to them and struck one of the men in the back of the head with a hard object. They then robbed the two men of everything in their pockets and fled.

Broening Highway, 1400 block, October 23, 2:40 p.m. A man told police his brother had beaten him and taken his cell phone. The two had previously argued over money. A warrant was issued for the assailant’s arrest.

S. Wolfe Street, 700 block, October 23, 11:30 p.m. A woman told police she and her boyfriend were walking together when a man approached and said, “You know what time it is,” then grabbed her cell phone and debit cards and fled.

N. Potomac Street, 800 block, October 16, 2:30 a.m. A man told police he was robbed of his phone, $20 cash, debit card and driver’s license by a man who did not appear to have a weapon, but who went through his pockets, removed his property and fled.

Aggravated Assault
Mt. Pleasant Avenue, 3500 block, October 29, 2:10 a.m. A woman told police her boyfriend had choked her and bitten her on the arm following an argument over the sleeping arrangements for their child. The boyfriend was arrested at the scene.

E. Fayette Street, 3600 block, October 28, 11:10 p.m. A man told police that a woman with whom he had previously had sexual relations several times, and whom he knew only as “Toni,” had fought on his front porch, and that she had sprayed the back of his neck with mace. The woman, whom he also described as an old friend, was a neighbor. Police will follow up.

S. Dean Street, 700 block, October 28, 5 p.m. A woman told police she had gotten into a fight with her boyfriend, who then hit her on the head with a mop.

German Hill Road, 6700 block, October 28, 4:30 p.m. A woman told police her boyfriend called her names, then had struck her in the knee with a spray can, causing a bruise. The two had been involved in an argument, and the boyfriend allegedly had been drinking.

N. Glover Street, 100 block, October 27, 7:30 a.m. A woman told police she and her boyfriend had argued because she wanted to file for child support from a previous relationship. The boyfriend refused to allow her to leave the house and then began choking her. He was arrested.

Herring Court, 200 block, October 25, 6:50 p.m. A woman told police she had argued with two neighbor women, and as a result, one her with a bat. When the victim managed to make her way inside, the suspects followed her, trying to jab her through her screen door with knives. Criminal charges will be brought.

S. Bradford Court, 600 block, October 25, 6:30 p.m. A man told police a suspect whom he knew only as “Joe” had approached him, accusing him of stealing from him. “Joe” then struck the man with a 2×4 that had a nail sticking out of it, and fled.

Broening Highway, 1400 block, October 24, 11:37 p.m. A man told police he had been moving his trash can into the alley when a woman drove by in a white Chevy Malibu. She asked him why he was trying to hit her car, and he responded that he was only moving his trash can. A man approached the two, screaming, “I’m a n—-r; I will be right back.” He then went away and came back, telling the man, “You either come to me or I’m going to come to you.” He pulled a chrome-plated gun out of his pants and fired off one round at the man, then got into the woman’s car and they both fled. The car was later located, and police are following up.

S. Linwood Avenue, 500 block, October 23, 3:40 p.m. A woman told police her ex-boyfriend had sprayed her with mace, then fled. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

N. Milton Avenue, 200 block, October 23, 11:40 p.m. A man told police he and his younger brother had argued over money, and the younger brother had struck him with a lamp, then fled. A warrant was obtained for his arrest.

Kane Street, 100 block, October 18, 1:50 p.m. Police responded to Patterson High School’s cafeteria and found a teenaged girl lying unconscious on the floor. It was reported that two other students had approached her and asked if she had head lice, then punched her. The suspects were arrested.

N. East Avenue, unit block, October 29, 2:20 p.m. Someone entered a home through a rear window and took a TV and electronic game system.

Fleet Street, 2400 block, October 28, 9:05 a.m. A man told police he came downstairs after taking a shower and saw a suspect’s legs hanging from his window. The suspect, described as a black male, age 16-19 with a medium afro, fled shortly thereafter.

Gusryan Street, 300 block, October 27, 9:30 a.m. Someone broke into a vacant home under rehab, taking hand tools and a ladder.

W. Montford Avenue, 600 block, October 27, 9 a.m. Someone broke a rear window and entered a house, taking copper pipes and a cast-iron bathtub. The house next door was broken into as well. Among the property taken were copper pipes and the kitchen sink.

Quad Avenue, 6600 block, October 27, 9:30 a.m. Someone broke through a wooden door and entered a business, then searched through desks and fled.

Robbery
900 block E. Baltimore St., Sunday, Oct. 16, 6:37 a.m.: Two men argued at a homeless shelter and took it outside. One of the men punched and kicked the other. The suspect stole the victim’s cell phone and a medicine bottle containing $70 cash and fled. The victim was taken to a hospital.

2900 block Fleet St., Saturday, Oct. 8, 10:14 p.m.: Two women were held up at knifepoint by a man who said “Give me your purse or I will stab you.” The women screamed and one of the women threw her purse at the suspect. He picked up the purse, jumped into a maroon Oldsmobile and fled eastbound.

Unit block S. Robinson St., Monday, Oct. 17, 2:33 a.m.: A woman was walking home from visiting her sister when a man and woman ran past her pursued by three men. One of the three grabbed the victim’s purse and when she resisted, he stabbed her in the wrist with a pair of scissors. Police arrested but later released a suspect when the victim could not positively identify him.

100 block N. Clinton St., Wednesday, Oct. 19, 1:58 p.m.: A man was sweeping in front of an auto repair shop when a man rode up on a purple bicycle and asked for air in his back tire. As the victim filled the tire the cyclist said “Hey can I have a few dollars?” The cyclist then showed a black handgun held in his waistband, forced the victim to the rear of the shop and stole cash, and then fled on his bike. Witnesses backed up the sweeper’s story.

2500 block E. Fayette St., Friday, Oct. 21, 7:30 p.m.: A woman standing at a bus stop was jumped by two men who grabbed her around the neck and stole her cell phone from her jacket pocket. The victim had been listening to music on her ear buds and did not hear the suspects approaching.

2300 block E. Fairmount St., Friday, Oct. 14, 7:24 p.m.: A young man wearing a white hoodie walked into a corner store, pulled a handgun and said “Gimme the money.” The store’s owner, thinking the gun was a BB gun, picked up a white bucket of bubble gum and hit the suspect with it, saying “get out of the store.” The suspect fled.

1500 block E. Fayette St., Friday, Oct. 14, 11 p.m.: A man was punched and robbed of his cell phone and $230 cash. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his split lip.

200 block N. Milton Ave., Sunday, Oct. 16, 12:29 a.m.: A man walked into a corner store, showed a silver handgun and announced a robbery. The store clerk picked up the phone and called the police and the suspect fled.

400 block S. Washington St., Sunday, Oct. 16, 7:42 p.m.: A couple out walking noticed a man following them. When they turned onto Washington St., the suspect confronted them with his hand in his pocket, implying he had a handgun, and said “Give me your money.” The man said he didn’t have any money, and the suspect knocked him to the ground, tore his pocket and stole his wallet. The female victim tried to jump the suspect, then ran to the 500 block S. Washington and returned with reinforcements. The suspect fled with four people giving chase. The victims managed to subdue the suspect and waited for police. The suspect did not have the victim’s wallet on him when arrested, but the wallet was found, without cash, in the 400 block S. Chapel St. The suspect was taken to Central Booking and charged.
