BE ON THE LOOKOUT-Police have released this surveillance photo (left) taken of a vehicle carrying a suspect in reference to the non-fatal shooting in the 1600 Blk of E. Baltimore Street on July 26, 09V206. The vehicle is described as a charcoal gray or dark colored vehicle. It could possibly be a Tahoe, Suburban, Excursion or any other large SUV matching this description. Those with information are asked to contact Det. Albino at the Southeastern District Detective Unit at 410-396-2429.
Homicide
Herring Court, 200 block, August 10, 5:40 a.m. Officers on uniformed patrol heard shots and found Thomas Alexander Medley, 32, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, but was prounounced dead shortly afterward.
Medley, who lived in the area where he was shot, was believed to have been walking southbound through the block when his attacker opened fire. Medley ran a short distance, then collapsed.

Shooting
N. Highland Avenue, 100 block, August 9, 11:51 p.m. Police on uniformed patrol heard gunshots in the area of Batimore Street and Fairmount Avenue. They found a man crawling along in the 100 block of N. Highland, suffering from a gunshot wound. The 33-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. According to the public information office of the Baltimore Police Department, the motivation for the attack might have been retaliation. The victim has a lengthy criminal history including numerous drug violations.

Hudson Street, 3300 block, August 8, 12:33 a.m. Someone damaged the front door of a house in an apparent attempt to enter. Nothing was taken.
Bank Street, 3400 block, August 8, 12:30 p.m. Someone entered a home through an unlocked front door and took a computer and equipment along with a bag and a passport. A suspect was described to police.
Hudson Street, 2800 block, August 6, 12:17 p.m. Someone removed the glass from a door frame of a pub and damaged two poker machines.
S. Montford Avenue, 500 block, August 6, 2:05 a.m. Someone stole the stained glass window from a house.
Loney’s Lane, 300 block, August 4, 2 p.m. Someone entered a home through a second floor rear window and took two computers, a printer, stereo equipment with speakers and a portable air conditioner as well as a shot gun and various CDs and DVDs.
N. Rose Street, 400 block, August 3, 10 a.m. Someone entered a home through a rear kitchen window and stole electronics, including a computer, TV and electronic game system.
S. Dallas Court, 200 block, August 3, 2 p.m. Someone entered a home through unknown means and took a TV.
Mt. Pleasant Avenue, 3800 block, August 3, 3:30 p.m. Someone entered a home through a kitchen window and took $1,800 cash. On the same day, someone broke into a home on the 3500 block of the same street, and after entering through a rear door, took a TV and two rings.
Aggravated Assault
N. Conkling Street, 200 block, August 8, 6:25 p.m. A woman told police that she was trying to break up a fight when an unknown female suspect threw a grill at her, causing injury.
E. Fayette Street, 900 block, August 7, 4:45 p.m. An unknown person flagged down police to report a man lying in the street. Officers found a homeless man who had been the victim of a beating. He was taken to the hospital and found to be in critical but stable condition. A suspect description was given.
N. Kresson Street, unit block, August 7, 10:15 p.m. A man told police that he had been punched by a male suspect following an argument with the suspect’s sister. The male suspect and the suspect’s sister told police that an argument had begun because of where the man had parked his vehicle, and that the man and some friends had threatened them with knives. Police will follow up.
McElderry Street, 3000 block, August 6, 11:45 p.m. A female suspect became enraged when she could not drive past a police officer’s car. The officer approached her car, and the woman put the vehicle in reverse, striking the officer and another woman, then fleeing.
S. Castle Street, unit block, August 4, 10:15 p.m. A teenager and his girlfriend told officers they were play-fighting when their play turned violent and the boyfriend slapped and choked the girlfriend and began throwing her around. The girl threw a knife at her boyfriend to get him to stop, and caused injury to his leg. Police will follow up.
O’Donnell Street, 5500 block, August 1, 12:30 a.m. A man told police that a vehicle had cut him off several times in traffic. At a light, a male suspect got out of the vehicle, and he and the man began fighting in the street. A second suspect attacked the man, causing lacerations to both sides of his face.
Robbery
Bank Street, 4800 block, August 8, 10:35 p.m. A man told police that as he was leaving his house, he was approached by a suspect who grabbed him, shoved him against a parked car and robbed him of $60 cash and a cell phone.
Danville Avenue, 6400 block, August 8, 9:29 p.m. A woman told police that a suspect brandished a handgun at her and said, “If you don’t give me your bag, I’m going to kill you.” The woman refused and she and the suspect fought over the purse. The suspect dropped the gun during the struggle, then grabbed the purse and fled.
Pulaski Highway, 2900 block, August 7, 9:15 p.m. A man told police that a group of teen males had jumped him, beaten him and robbed him of $500 cash.
Broening Highway, 1600 block, August 7, 9:36 p.m. A woman told police that a male suspect had threatened her with a handgun and said, “Give it up, give me all your money.” He fled with her purse and cell phone.
Elrino Street, 300 block, August 6, 10:15 p.m. A woman told police that a teen male suspect had jumped out in front of her in an alley and stolen her purse after threatening her with a handgun.
N. Spring Court, 200 block, August 5, 8:50 p.m. A man told police that he was out walking when a male suspect grabbed him and said, “You know what time it is.” The man began fighting with the suspect, but the suspect pulled out a handgun and struck the man with it on the head. He then grabbed the man’s wallet and fled.
N. Clinton Street, unit block, August 3, 8:38 a.m. A woman told police that three male suspects entered her home through an unlocked front door. They robbed her of $231 cash, phones, jewelry, watch, B.B. guns and a set of house keys. They tied the woman’s hands with a computer mouse cord, then fled.
Eastern Avenue, 1700 block, August 3, 11;14 a.m. A suspect entered a store through a front door, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded cash. He fled with $50.
S. Bond Street, 200 block, August 2, 9:36 p.m. A man told police that he was out walking when a suspect asked him where he was going. The suspect then grabbed the man by the throat and demanded money. The suspect wrestled the man to the ground and grabbed three necklaces and $1,000 cash, then fled. The victim was able to identify the suspect in a photo line-up and a warrant will be issued.
Larceny from Auto
O’Donnell Street, 5600 block, August 5, 3:10 a.m. A truck driver told police that he had fallen asleep when he felt his trailer rock. He went to investigate and found a male suspect inside, who told him, “This is Mafia land; I’m gonna take half your stuff.” The suspect ran off with a box of Chips Ahoy cookies and some bleach.
