Robbery
300 block S. Norris St., Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2:30 a.m.: Two men approached two women and pushed them to the ground, yelling “Where’s the money, B____!, reached into one woman’s bra and stole a black wallet containing $1,400 cash and an Independence card.
1400 block W. Ostend St., Friday, Aug. 13, 3:55 p.m.: A man was beaten and robbed of his cell phone, wallet, credit cards and cash.
1500 block Cole St., Saturday, Aug. 14, 12:40 p.m.: A man choked a woman with a belt and stole $29 from her. She was taken to Shock-Trauma for treatment.
Aggravated assault
100 block S. Gilmor St., Monday, Aug. 9, 3:30 p.m.: A man was arrested for hitting and choking his girlfriend.
1600 block Ramsay St., Tuesday, Aug. 10, 7 a.m.: A woman struck another woman in the face with an iron during an argument. The assailant was arrested.
900 block Leadenhall St., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 12:25 p.m.: A woman grabbed a man by the neck and choked and scratched him. Police arrested her.
200 block S. Mount St., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 10:05 p.m.: A man threw a brick through the windshield of another man’s car. The driver was not injured.
1600 block Ramsay St., Thursday, Aug. 12, 3:40 a.m.: A man was arrested for striking another man in the forearm with a stick.
100 block S. Stricker St., Friday, Aug. 13, 3 p.m.: A man was arrested for throwing a brick at a woman and breaking her arm.
1300 block Washington Blvd., Saturday, Aug. 14, 5:30 a.m.: A warrant has been obtained for a man who allegedly punched and tried to strangle his girlfriend after she told him she wanted to break up with him.
Burglary
900 block W. Pratt St., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 10:30 a.m.: Someone walked into a house through the front door and stole a 91-inch Panasonic TV.
1100 block S. Carey St., Thursday, Aug. 12, 1:30 a.m.: Someone tried to crawl into a house through a rear window but failed.
1200 block Riverside Ave., Saturday, Aug. 14, 3:30 a.m.: Someone broke into a house and stole a white purse with credit cards and identification.
Larceny
1900 block McHenry St., Tuesday, Aug. 10, 8 a.m.: Someone stole the BGE meter from the rear of a house.
1200 block W. Pratt St., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1:40 p.m.: A man stuffed his pockets and pants with a variety of merchandise including an Airwick air freshener, V8 tomato juice, Summers vinegar and a college-ruled notebook and attempted to leave the store without paying. He was arrested.
2700 block Port Covington Dr., Friday, Aug. 13, 3:10 p.m.: Two girls shoplifted toothpaste, shoes, underwear, soap, condoms and other merchandise. One of the girls was released to her parent’s custody because she is nine months pregnant.
