WANTED-Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of armed robbery suspect Michael (“Mike”) Pederson, a white male, 33 years old, 5’11” tall and 170 pounds. He has a tattoo on his neck that says “Lindy” and is armed with a silver handgun, often in the company of a white male suspect. If you see Pederson or know of his whereabouts (or those of any other suspect who may be traveling with him), do not approach or detain him, but instead call Det. Crites at 410-396-2422. If Det. Crites is not available, ask to speak to anyone in the Southeastern District Detective Unit.

INFORMATION WANTED-Dwayne Goodwin (pictured), a black male weariug his hair in braids, has been arrested for armed robbery. Police, however, believe he has been involved in a string of robberies, and would like any victims to let them know if his picture looks familiar to them.  If you would like to provide any information to help with the investigation, call Det. Murphy at 410-396-2422. If Det. Murphy is not available, ask to speak to anyone in the Southeastern District Detective Unit.

Burglary

S. Ellwood Avenue, 1100 block, August 6, 12 p.m. Someone entered a home through a window and took an entertainment system and a copy of “Final Fantasy” as well as coins.

E. Lombard Street, 3400 block, August 6, 6 p.m. A woman told police that her ex-husband forced his way into his ex-wife’s home, but fled upon realizing he was being observed.

Stiles Street, 900 block, August 5, 6 p.m. Someone broke into a shed near a bocce court and took a handicap ramp, four bocce balls and files with information on players on them.

Hornel Street, 300 block, August 4, 6:15 a.m. Someone broke into a home and stole prescription medications including prenatal vitamins.

Orleans Street, 2800 block, August 5, 5 p.m. Someone entered a home through unknown means and took a TV and a hair clipper set.

Bank Street, 1900 block, August 4, 1:20 p.m. Someone broke into a garage and took a bicycle. A neighbor grabbed the bike and stopped the suspect and the two became involved in a fight. The suspect ran off on foot.

E. Fayette Street, 3000 block, August 3, 10:53 a.m. Two suspects described as teenaged boys (one of whom had a tattoo on his neck) broke the glass of a door and entered. Some property was damaged but nothing was taken.

S. Linwood Avenue, 800 block, August 2, 2:03 a.m. A woman told police she heard a noise in her house and found a suspect trying to enter her house. She contacted police, who apprehended the suspect in the woman’s courtyard.

Thames Street, 1200 block, July 28, 1:14 a.m. A man told police that he returned to his apartment and found a maintenance worker inside. He asked the man why he was in the apartment and the worker said, “I’m on an emergency flood call but everything’s okay now.” The man noticed his cash was missing, and contacted police. It was revealed the maintenance man was not on an emergency call and had no right to be in the apartment. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Robbery

S. Streeper Street, 600 block, August 6, 8:29 a.m. A woman told police that her boyfriend had approached her and began an argument with her, then grabbed her purse and fled. He was later located and then arrested.

E. Fayette Street, 2700 block August 4, 7:15 p.m. A woman told police that a suspect had thrown her to the ground and stolen her purse containing $329 cash.

S. Chester Street, 100 block, August 3, 1:01 a.m. Two men told police that they were out walking when two suspects approached them, pulled guns and said, “get in the alley.” They hit one man on the head and robbed both of their wallets and cash.

S. Ann Street, 300 block, August 3, 9:30 p.m. A man was out walking when he saw a group of teenagers who yelled, “F– you, white boy,” attacked him and took his cell phone and cash, then fled.

S. Bethel Street, 400 block, August 3, 8 p.m. A man told police that two suspects had attacked him and robbed him of his phone.

S. Chapel Street, 200 block, August 2, 9:42 p.m. A man told police that two men attacked him and said, “You better not run,” then robbed him of his phone and wallet.

Eastern Avenue, 2000 block, August 1, 4:40 a.m. A man told police that two men approached him, and one said, “Good morning, don’t move, and give me your wallet.” They robbed him of his wallet, then fled.

Aggravated Assault

N. Janney Street, 100 block, August 6, 8:24 p.m. A man and his brother argued about a dog, and one pushed the other, then beat him with a cane.

S. Dean Street, 100 block, August 3, 12:14 a.m. A man was talking with his girlfriend when a neighbor began arguing about an ongoing dispute. A fight ensued and the neighbor tried to attack the man, then was joined by a friend. Both were arrested.

E. Fayette Street, 3600 block, August 2, 5:58 p.m. A woman and her husband got into a fight because he was drinking. He began to choke her. He was arrested.

S. Broadway, 700 block, July 31, 11:59 p.m. A woman told police that a man had gotten angry because she and two female friends were accelerating their motorcycles, making noise behind his car. He put his car in reverse and struck the three women, causing them to fall. He was arrested.

Larceny

E. Fayette Street, 2800 block, August 7, 10:45 a.m. Someone stole medication for blood pressure and motion sickness from a woman while she was sitting at a bus stop. The suspect was described as a 6’ tall black male with a front tooth trimmed in gold.

Eastern Avenue, 3200 block, August 7, 11:30 p.m. Someone entered a store and fled with chocolate bars.

N. East Avenue, unit block, August 5, 10 a.m. Someone stole a Texas flag.
