
Walter Petro
WANTED-Police detectives in the Southeastern District are seeking Walter Petro, a 42-year-old white male, who is wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on Labor Day on Erdman Avenue. Petro is a white male, 5’10” tall and 210 pounds. According to reports, a 17-year-old girl was thrown from her parents’ car after Petro rammed their vehicle. At the time of the incident, Petro was driving a greed Dodge Ram. Police are seeking information of Petro’s whereabouts, and welcome any leads. In addition, they are cautioning individuals who see Petro or encounter him not to approach or detain him. Mason Court, 200 block, August 28, 5:09 p.m. One victim was shot, and the suspect is described only as an unknown black male. Call Det. Walter Naylor at Southeastern District Detective Unit 410-396-2429.
Jefferson Street, 3100 block, August 7, 11:37 p.m. Two persons were shot. The suspect is described only as an unknown black male. Call Det. Edwin Albino at Southeastern District Detective Unit 410-396-2429.

Robbery
E. Baltimore Street, 3300 block, September 4, 8 a.m. A woman and her ex-boyfriend were arguing over the fact that she was seeing another person. The ex-boyfriend went into the woman’s vehicle, stole the keys, pushed the woman down and fled. When he returned moments later, he was arrested by police.
E. Baltimore Street, 3200 block, September 4, 2:02 p.m. A woman told police that her ex-boyfriend had pulled a knife on her and had stolen money from her. A warrant was obtained for his arrest.
Rappolla Street, 600 block, September 2, 10:30 a.m. A man told police that he answered a knock at his front door, whereupon two suspects described as white men wearing masks forced their way inside, said “Mitch sent us and Mitch don’t mess around,” then robbed him of his laptop. They then said, “You’re not who we’re looking for,” and left.
Ballou Court, 300 block, September 1, 4:55 p.m. A woman told police that a female friend gave her money to buy things at the convenience store. Upon her return, the friend accused the woman of stealing the money. An argument ensued, then turned physical, and the friend pulled a knife on the woman, stabbed her and then went through her pockets. She was arrested at the scene.
Rappolla Street, 600 block, August 31, 1:49 a.m. A man told police he was out walking when he passed a group of suspects, described as four black males in their 20s. They attacked him from behind and punched him, knocking him to the ground. They stole his cellphone and cash, then fled.
N. Luzerne Avenue, 100 block, August 28, 12:30 a.m. A man told police that he had come to a woman’s house to have sex, and that he had taken his pants and put them on the floor. He turned around to see her taking money from his wallet. When he tried to get the money back, the woman hit him several times. The woman was arrested.
E. Fayette Street, 3300 block, August 22, 2:30 p.m. A man told police that he was getting money from an ATM inside a convenience store and that when he went to put the money in his wallet, two teenaged boys grabbed him and took the cash. They ran into a house. He called police, who entered the house and arrested both suspects.
S. Washington Street, 600 block, August 21, 2:30 a.m. A woman told police that a man had pushed her into a wall, wrenched away her purse, and fled.
S. Clinton Street, 300 block, August 21, 9:50 p.m. Two men were walking along when they were attacked by three teenagers (two boys and a girl) who robbed them of $3 cash and a cell phone. All suspects were arrested.
Aggravated Assault
N. Dallas Court, 200 block, September 4, 3:22 p.m. A man told policer that he was talking to some friends when a person he knew only as “Duke” had hit him in the face with a hard object, causing a cut above his eye.
McElderry Street, 2300 block, September 4, 2 a.m. A man told police he was in a fight with a stranger, and that the stranger had knocked him unconscious.
Low Street, 800 block, September 3, 8:10 p.m. A man was found suffering from stab wounds. No further information was available because the victim was unable to talk, and is in critical condition.
N. Milton Avenue, 600 block, September 1, 8:10 a.m. A pregnant woman and her boyfriend were involved in an argument. The boyfriend began punching and kicking her. A warrant was obtained for his arrest.
Eastern Avenue, 6200 block, August 31, 10:51 p.m. A man told police that he was involved in an argument with two other men when they stabbed him in the back and neck for unknown reasons.
Foster Avenue, 2500 block, August 29, 2:57 p.m. A man told police that he “had words” with a female neighbor who then left the area and came back with her father and boyfriend who confronted the man and began beating him. A suspect was named to police.
Eastern Avenue, 4600 block, August 29, 10:10 p.m. A woman told police that her boyfriend began banging on her door, intoxicated. She let him in and he attacked her, picking up a knife and threatening to kill her. She called police and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
S. East Avenue, 500 block, August 29, 2 p.m. A man told police that he was at a bus stop when he asked a nearby woman about her tattoos. She sprayed him in the face with pepper spray, got on the bus and rode away.
Orleans Street, 2900 block, August 28, 8 p.m. A woman told police that her child’s father came to pick up the child and that an argument had broken out. The man began to choke the woman, who struck him with a vase in self-defense. He was arrested.
S. Dallas Court, 200 block, August 28, 5:06 p.m. Police responded to a report of a shooting and found one man suffering from a gunshot to the back. No further information was immediately available.
E. Baltimore Street, 6900 block, August 29, 11 p.m. A man and his wife argued, and the wife hit the husband in the head with a 2×4.
N. Kresson Street, unit block, August 28, 11:15 p.m. A man told police that he and his friend were in a heated argument, and that his friend had pulled a knife and said, “I’ll stab your ass right here.” A warrant was obtained for his arrest.
Dundalk Avenue, 1100 block, August 27, 3 a.m. A man told police that he was standing by the side of the road when a woman drove up in a gray Durango and asked him the time. When he refused to give it, she shot him with a B.B. gun.
S. Broadway, 300 block, August 24, 10:57 p.m. During an argument over a girl, a homeless man known only as “Mike” pulled a knife and stabbed another man.
Eastern Avenue, 6200 block, August 24, 11:35 p.m. A man told police that three teens had driven up and shot him in the elbow with a B.B. gun.
E. Lombard Street, 3800 block, August 24, 3:30 p.m. A woman told police that a woman had sprayed her on the arm with mace for no apparent reason. The suspect was arrested.
N. Haven Street, 100 block, August 23, 3:25 a.m. A man and his wife got into an argument, and the wife struck him with a baseball bat, then attempted to stab him. She was arrested.
S. Conkling Street, 300 block, August 22, 12:40 a.m. A woman told police that a man began calling her names, then stabbed her.
S. Conkling Street, 400 block, August 22, 1:14 a.m. One woman was arrested for stabbing another in a club.
Burglary
S. Washington Street, 400 block, August 4, 7 p.m. A woman heard her alarm go off and went to investigate, and found that someone had entered through a window and had taken electronic equipment.
Bank Street, 2100 block, September 3, 7 a.m. A man told police that he had lost his house keys, and that he had placed his drum cymbals near the door to block it. When he returned, he found they had been knocked over and that someone had tried to gain entrance.
Eastern Avenue, 5400 block, September 1, 11 a.m. Someone broke into a church through a window and damaged a soda machine. Entrance was gained through a rear basement window.
S. Broadway, 100 block, August 31, 10:01 a.m. A woman told police that she returned home and found that someone had entered through a rear basement door and removed tools.
S. President Street, 100 block, August 30, 10 p.m. A woman returned to her hotel room to find some electronic equipment missing. She told police that she had lost her hotel key, which had her room number on it, which would have allowed someone to enter her room and remove property undetected.
N. Bond Street, 100 block, August 29, 12:45 p.m. A woman returned home to find that someone had entered, possibly through the door, and ransacked her bedroom. There was no sign of forced entry.
Eastern Avenue, 4700 block, August 29, 8 a.m. Someone entered a sub shop, possibly through an unlocked door, and took a TV and a power-washer.
Fell Street, 1000 block, August 28, 9:30 a.m. A man failed to lock up his 77-foot yacht and found that someone had entered without permission and had stolen $3,020 cash.
N. Kresson Street, unit block, August 28, 10:45 a.m. Someone removed an air conditioning unit from a rear second floor window and entered a house, taking a TV.
E. Fairmount Avenue, 2100 block, August 27, 7:10 a.m. A man returned home to find that someone had removed the air conditioner unit from the front window and entered a house, and took electronic equipment.
N. Janney Street, 100 block, August 27, 6:30 p.m. Someone broke a window with a rock, then entered a house and took computers and cash.
E. Lombard Street, 3300 block, August 27, 1 a.m. Someone entered a home through a front door and damaged property. Nothing was taken.
S. Broadway, 200 block, August 26, 3 p.m. Someone forced open the front door of a building and entered, damaging property.
S. East Avenue, 900 block, August 26, 8 p.m. Someone tried to pry the lock from a door but was unsuccessful.
Steelton Avenue, 1100 block, August 26, 1:20 p.m. Someone forced open the rear door of a house and took electronics.
S. President Street, 200 block, August 25, 5:45 a.m. Someone broke into a trailer and took cell phones.
Carbore Way, 6200 block, August 24, 4 p.m. Someone entered a home through a kitchen window and took clothing.
S. Patterson Park Avenue, 500 block, August 24, 6 p.m. A woman returned home to find that a maintenance man had been inside her premises without permission and without being called, and that $400 cash was missing.
N. Janney Street, 100 block, August 23, 10:50 p.m. Someone entered a garage and took three mountain bikes.
Shipview Way, 6200 block, August 23, midnight. Someone entered a home, possibly through an unlocked door, and took money and CDs.
E. Lombard Street, 4300 block, August 23, 10:50 p.m. Someone entered an apartment without permission and ransacked it.
Folcroft Street, 300 block, August 22, 5:30 p.m. Someone entered a home and took electronic equipment.
Eastern Avenue, 1900 block, August 22, 4:25 a.m. Someone climbed through an open second floor window and removed a woman’s purse. A suspect was described to the police as a black male wearing a black shirt.
N. Highland Avenue, 200 block, August 21, 9:30 a.m. Someone entered a home through a window and took money and a camera.
O’Donnell Street, 3100 block, August 21, 8 a.m. A homeowner was awakened by two suspects kicking at his back door trying to get in. They fled without gaining entrance.
N. Curley Street, 500 block, August 21, 10 p.m. A man told police that he came home to find his rear kitchen door unlocked and electronic equipment missing.
S. Washington Street, 500 block, August 20, 3 p.m. A man returned to his business to find that someone had gained entrance without force, removed money and a gun from an unlocked safe, then fled.
McElderry Street, 3300 block, August 20, 12:50 p.m. A man told police he heard noise in his back yard and went to investigate and found a suspect trying to get in. When the suspect (described as a black male, approximately 6’ tall and 165 pounds wearing a white tank top and dark shorts) realized he had been seen, he fled.
