Aggravated Assault
O’Donnell Street, 5100 block,
July 25, 1:30 a.m. A man told police that he was walking with his girlfriend when an unknown person hit him on the head with a brick. Both he and his girlfriend admitted that they had drinking and were slightly intoxicated.
S. Spring Court, 300 block, July 25, 3:30 a.m. A woman told police that she had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend while she was in her house. Another man who was sleeping in the house woke up and came to the woman’s aid. They fought and the boyfriend cut the woman with a knife and hit the man with a bat, then fled.
S. Spring Court, 300 block, July 24, 3:25 p.m. A woman told police that she had had an argument with her boyfriend and told him that she wanted him to leave. The boyfriend, who was still on the scene, told police that he was the woman’s husband, and that he had a right to be in the house. Police were unable to determine which party was telling the truth. Later that same day, officers were again summoned to the address because the woman had threatened the man with a knife and the man had punched her in the chest and choked her. Both parties were arrested.
Steelton Avenue, 1100 block, July 23, 6:15 p.m. A man told police that his neighbor had approached him while he was sitting on his porch. The neighbor had started swinging a knife and screaming, “I’m gonna kill y’all bitches.” The suspect was arrested.
Oldham Street, 700 block, July 21, 1:35 p.m. A man and woman were having an argument concerning home improvement work he was performing at a rental property. The man came to retrieve his tools and the woman stopped him, saying, “You’re ain’t getting s–t.” The woman pulled a weapon of some kind and struck the man with it. The man called the police and the woman was arrested.
Highland Avenue, 100 block, July 21, 11:15 p.m. A woman called police to report that a suspect, whom she described as female with red hair, had pulled a knife on her. The suspect was located and arrested.
Anglesea Street, 1400 block, July 21, 11:40 p.m. A couple, who described themselves as a boyfriend and girlfriend, told police that they had been involved in an argument. During the course of the argument, the woman bit the man. She was arrested.
Dundalk Avenue, 900 block, July 20, 10 p.m. A man told police that he was approached by a group of suspects who attacked and beat him.
Granby Street, 1000 block, July 19, 11 p.m. A man told police that he was fighting with his girlfriend, and that she had stabbed him in the arm. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Eastern Avenue, 1900 block, July 8, 9:40 a.m. A woman told police that she found a man lying in front of her door so that she could not enter. She asked him if he would leave so that she could go inside, and the man stated, “Bitch, I will beat your ass and stab you.” He was arrested.

S. Highland Avenue, unit block,
July 24, 12:30 a.m. Someone entered a home through a bedroom window and took jewelry.
E. Lombard Street, 3700 block, July 24, 8 a.m. Someone entered a business through a back door and took a freezer, gas range and counter top.
N. Belnord Avenue, 200 block, July 23, 9:15 p.m. Someone entered a home through a front window and ate a pot of food that was left on the stove. 10 DVDs were also taken.
Albemarle Street, 500 block, July 22, 4 p.m. Someone entered a home through a bedroom window and stole approximately 150 DVDs.
N. Belnord Avenue, 500 block, July 22, 5:05 p.m. Someone entered a home through a back door. Nothing was taken.
S. Broadway, 200 block, July 22, 8:30 p.m. Someone broke into a social club and damaged three doors, a juke box and a poker machine. An unknown amount of cash was taken.
Kane Street, 400 block, July 20, 5:30 p.m. Someone forced open the basement door of a house and took $2,500 cash.
E. Fairmount Avenue, 2600 block, July 20, 3:15 p.m. A woman told police that she was in her house when she heard noises and went upstairs to investigate. She found a suspect climbing out the living room window. The suspect had forced his way in by damaging a screen and entering through the window, which had been left open.
S. Regester Street, 300 block, July 20, 4:30 p.m. Someone pried open the lock of a front door of a home and took a transom window with a house number on it.
Oldham Street, 200 block, July 20, 11:50 p.m. Someone forced open the front doors of a house and took prescription medication.
Robbery
Eastern Avenue, 3400 block,
July 25, 10:15 a.m. A suspect, described as a bald black male, entered a bank and handed a teller a note reading “This is a robbery, I have a gun, give me 20s from the top drawer and 50s, hurry hurry.” The teller handed the suspect an unknown amount of cash and he fled.
S. Linwood Avenue, 700 block, July 24, 7:05 p.m. A woman told police that two man had stolen her purse. A group of citizens chased down the suspects and held them until police arrived. Both suspects were arrested.
Aliceanna Street, 1700 block, July 23, 11:36 p.m. Two women told police that they had been robbed at knifepoint of their cell phones and cash. A bottle of Southern Comfort and a bottle of Coke were also taken. One suspect told the women, “Don’t call police; I know what you look like.”
Baltimore Street, 2500 block, July 21, 11:16 p.m. A man told police that a male suspect had walked up behind him and attacked him, then robbed him of $300 cash and a cell phone.

Bank Street, 1800 block,
July 25, 10 a.m. Someone entered a car through unknown means and took a GPS.
E. Lombard Street, 3100 block, July 25, 2 p.m. Someone opened the door of a truck and damaged the glove box and stole the radio.
S. Newkirk Street, 1100 block, July 25, 1:15 p.m. Someone broke into a truck and took a snowball machine and parts of an ice cream machine.
S. Bouldin Street, 600 block, July 24, 5:45 a.m. Someone broke the window of a van and took a tool box.
Gough Street, 3300 block, July 24, 5:55 a.m. Police arrested a man who was in the process of breaking into a vehicle. He told police that he was just sleeping there, but could not explain why items were missing from the interior. He was also charged with breaking into a second car on the same street.
E. Baltimore Street, 2100 block, July 24, 2 p.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took a wallet and contents.
Jefferson Street, 2800 block, July 24, 1:05 a.m. Someone broke the window of a truck and took a GPS and cell phone.
E. Pratt Street, 6400 block, July 23, 10:30 a.m. Someone stole the license tags from a car.
E. Lombard Street, 2000 block, July 23, 8:30 a.m. Someone stole the side mirror from a vehicle. In the 3200 block of the same street, around the same time, someone opened the unlocked door of a truck and took a headpiece, CDs and wheel lock.
S. Robinson Street, 1000 block, July 23, 3:28 p.m. Someone opened an unlocked truck and took the face plate of a radio.
Brown Avenue, 6300 block, July 22, 4:30 a.m. Someone entered a car through unknown means and took a TV/DVD player.
E. Fairmount Avenue, 3100 block, July 22, 5:20 p.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took a GPS and cell phone.
Eastern Avenue, 3900 block, July 21, 2:30 p.m. Someone broke into a car through unknown means and took a GPS.
S. Regester Street, 200 block, July 21, 1:50 a.m. Someone broke into a car and took an mp3 player, shoes and jewelry as well as CDs in a case.
Gough Street, 3100 block, July 21, 7 a.m. Someone cut the catalytic converter off a truck.
N. Luzerne Avenue, 400 block, July 20, 11 p.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took an mp3 player.
Lombard Street, 3100 block, July 20, 7 a.m. Someone popped open the truck of a car and took a purse.
E. Pratt Street, 2200 block, July 20, 12 p.m. Someone broke into a truck and took a bracelet.
E. Fairmount Avenue, 1700 block, July 20, 11 a.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took a GPS.
Lloyd Street, unit block, July 20, 1:45 a.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took a purse and $80 cash.
S. Regester Street, 200 block, July 20, 1:36 a.m. Someone broke into a truck and took miscellaneous property including a screwdriver, CD player, roll of tape, bookbag, reflective vest, pliers and other items.
