Robbery
1900 block W. Lombard St., Monday, May 24, 9:32 a.m.: A man held up another man by placing a hard object to his neck and rifling his pockets. The thief made off with a brown wallet containing ID, personal papers and $397 cash.
500 block Russell St., Tuesday, May 25, 9:55 p.m.: A man tried to steal the money bag from a concessionaire’s office. When he was confronted he punched the victim several times and bit him on the leg. Police arrested the suspect.
1200 block Light St., Tuesday, May 25, 1:55 a.m.: A man was struck in the back of the head and relieved of his wallet and cell phone.
800 block S. Hanover St., Saturday, May 29, 10:25 p.m.: A man walked up to two women and tried to snatch one of their purses. The victim put up a fight and the suspect threw her to the ground and then attacked her companion and stole the second woman’s purse after a struggle. The women chased him down and held him for police who arrested him.
Aggravated Assault
1000 block S. Charles St., Sunday, May 23, 11:15 p.m.: A man threatened to stab a store clerk with a hypodermic needle, then ran away. The clerk was not injured.
100 block E. West St., Saturday, May 29, 12:50 a.m.: A man cut another man during an argument and was arrested.
Burglary
1000 block Leadenhall St., Monday, May 24, 7 a.m.: Sometime overnight someone walked into a house through the front door and stole a pair of New Balance sneakers and some maternity clothes. The victim suspects a visitor stole his house keys.
1500 block McHenry St., Monday, May 24, 4 p.m.: Someone broke into a house under renovation through the rear door and stole kitchen cabinets, a bathroom sink, a toilet and construction supplies.
400 block S. Calhoun St., Tuesday, May 25, 2:30 p.m.: A man walked into a woman’s home and stole her Coach wallet containing $180 cash, personal papers, birth certificate and credit cards. The suspect is a neighbor of the victim; a warrant is out for his arrest.
100 block E. Heath St., Friday, May 28, 4:05 p.m. Someone walked through the open door of a house and stole a 36-inch flat screen TV and a PlayStation 3.
1300 block Lemmon St., Friday, May 28, 2 p.m.: Someone broke into a house through the rear door and stole a PlayStation 3, flat-screen TV, wedding ring and HP laptop computer.
100 block S. Amity St., Saturday, May 29, 4 p.m.: Someone crawled into a house through the front window and stole an LCD television and a bank card.
600 block S. Monroe St., Saturday, May 29, 6:30 p.m.: Someone broke into a house through the rear door. Nothing was taken.
Larceny
1400 block W. Lombard St., Sunday, May 23, 10 p.m.: Someone stole a Bianchi bicycle from the front porch.
1100 block Russell St., Tuesday, May 25, 4:30 p.m.: A man got construction tools from a store using a false purchase order.
1400 block Key Hwy., Wednesday, May 26, 9:30 p.m..: A man stole shampoo, soap and lotion from a convenience store.
700 block W. Hamburg St., Wednesday, May 26, 3:30 p.m.: Someone broke a window of a parked car and stole a pocketbook containing credit cards.
1000 block Light St., Thursday, May 27, 2 a.m.: A man shoplifted Bic lighters, 5-Hour energy drinks, cookies and candy bars from a drugstore.
600 block Washington Blvd., Thursday, May 27, 12:55 p.m.: Someone stole a DeWalt 18-volt circular saw from an unlocked truck.
2700 block Port Covington Dr., Friday, May 28, 4 p.m.: A man was arrested for trying to shoplift various deodorants.
300 block W. Camden St., Friday, May 28, 9:30 a.m.: A citizen confronted a man who was breaking into a car and held him for police.
300 block S. Fulton St., Friday, May 28, 6:30 a.m.: Someone broke into a car by cutting through a plastic window and stole a grey Canon digital camera.
1400 block Key Hwy., Friday, May 28, 3:54 a.m.: A man stole a charity jar containing $70 from a convenience store.
1100 block Covington St., Friday, May 28, 9 a.m.: Someone stole the car stereo and a pair of Nike tennis shoes from a parked car.
1200 block W. Pratt St., Saturday, May 29, 11 a.m.: A man was arrested for trying to shoplift a tube of Jam Hair Gel.
1200 block W. Pratt St., Saturday, May 29, 11 a.m.: A woman was arrested for trying to shoplift hair conditioner, hair spray and reading glasses.
100 block E. Fort Ave., Saturday, May 29, 11 p.m.: Someone stole a solar-powered light and a small windmill.
1000 block S. Hanover St., Sunday, May 30, 9 a.m.: A man walked into a convenience store, chugged five slurpees and tried to leave without paying. He was arrested.
Unit block S. Carey St., Sunday, May 30, 11:50 p.m.: Someone stole a GPS from a parked car.
1000 block Light St., Sunday, May 30, 8:45 a.m.: Someone stole a Fuji mountain bike.
