Robbery
S. Monroe Street, 300 block, June 17, 5:39 p.m. A man told police that a group of suspects approached him from behind and grabbed $640 cash from his pockets, then fled. One suspect was arrested.
Peach Street, 900 block, June 17, 5:39 p.m. A man entered a woman’s house and the two began arguing. He choked her, took her cell phone and then fled. He was later apprehended and arrested.
Aggravated Assault
Sargeant Street, 1300 block, June 15, 8 a.m. A man attacked a woman, punching her and throwing her to the ground, then attempting to choke her. He was arrested.
Cole Street, 1600 block, June 15, 2 a.m. A man was arrested for kicking a woman and choking her.
S. Carrollton Avenue, unit block, June 14, 7:20 a.m. A man told police that he found an intruder in his house. When he tried to approach the suspect, the suspect swung a hammer at him, then ran off.
E. Cross Street, unit block, June 13, 1:30 a.m. A man told police that a second man had approached him and punched him, causing him to fall and strike his head on the pavement. The suspect then fled the scene.
S. Bruce Street, 300 block, June 13, 7:15 p.m. A teenage boy told police that a man pulled up to him in a vehicle and threw something at him that struck him in the face and caused injury. The suspect then drove off.
Burglary
S. Charles Street, 1300 block, June 18, 11 a.m. Someone entered a home through a rear door and took two bicycles, one blue and one black.
S. Carey Street, 900 block, June 16, 2:10 p.m. Someone forced open the front door of a house and took a computer and a ring.
William Street, 1200 block, June 14, 2 p.m. Someone entered a home through a window and took a phone and a computer.
Kuper Place, 1300 block, June 14, 1 p.m. Someone entered a home through a window, took an air conditioner and a TV, and fled.
Auto Theft
E. Fort Avenue, 800 block, June 14, 1 a.m. Someone stole a Hyundai Sonata.
W. Cross Street, 700 block, June 13, 2 a.m. Someone stole a 1999 Nissan from its parking spot.
S. Payson Street, June 13, 9 p.m. Someone stole a 1998 Buick Park Avenue.
Larceny
S. Charles Street, 1000 block, June 19, 5:10 a.m. A man took soap and body wash from a store and ran out without paying.
S. Hanover Street, 1700 block, June 19, 3:3o p.m. Someone damaged a Keno machine, taking an unknown amount of cash.
Russell Street, 500 block, June 19, 8:15 p.m. A woman sat her camera, memory cards and batteries on a stage, then left. When she returned, it was gone.
Russell Street, 500 block, June 18, 8:10 p.m. A man was arrested after he reached into a cash register and took $580.
E. Fort Avenue, 800 block, June 18, 10 a.m. Someone stole a woman’s purse. No further details were available.
Belt Street, 1400 block, June 17, 10:30 p.m. Someone removed bicycles described as a green Huffy and an orange Gary Fisher, from the rear yard of a house.
Haupert Street, 1400 block, June 13, 6 p.m. Someone took two air conditioners from a back yard.

S. Charles Street, 500 block, June 20, 11 a.m. Someone stole a computer that had been left inside a car.
S. Carey Street, unit block, June 20, 1:30 p.m. Someone took home improvement tools from a vehicle
W. Cross Street, 100 block, June 19, 11 p.m. Someone took CDs and a purse from inside a car.
Race Street, 1100 block, June 18, 11:30 p.m. Someone broke into a car and took luggage, glasses, cameras and jewelry.
Washington Blvd., 600 block, June 17, 10 p.m. Someone entered a car and took an mp3 player.
McHenry Street, 800 block, June 17, 7:20 a.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took a GPS and a cell phone charger.
S. Arlington Avenue, unit block, June 14, 12:15 p.m. Someone stole the tags from a parked car.
Covington Street, 1100 block, June 16, after 8:30 p.m. A string of cars was broken into at the same location on the same day. Nothing was taken from one car, but two other people reported that bowling shoes, and a GPS, mp3 player and sunglasses were taken in separate incidents.
Warren Avenue, 300 block, June 15, 7:30 p.m. Someone took a GPS that had been inside a vehicle.
Hollins Street, 800 block, June 14, 8:30 p.m. Someone opened a car and took a bag containing skin care supplies.
W. Cross Street, 100 block, June 13, 5:30 p.m. Someone broke the window of a car and took tools.
